A startup specializing in solar panels required an efficient method for managing inventory, pricing, and product updates from their supplier’s website. The goal was to keep their Shopify store competitive and up-to-date.
I was hired to develop a streamlined solution for extracting and uploading all product data from the supplier’s website. Using Python, I built a robust web scraping tool that extracted, cleaned, and structured the data. The processed data was then uploaded to the Shopify store via Shopify’s GraphQL API.
Over time, I improved the system to provide automated updates for inventory, pricing, and product images. This ensured the store kept its competitive edge by presenting accurate and timely information.
Outcome:
- Online sales tripled within three months.
- Conversion rates improved by 250%, reaching 6.61%.
- Monthly traffic grew to over 25,000 visits.
- Achieved a ROAS of 6.4 in Q4 2024, with plans to reach 8.0 in 2025.
